Beth or "Queen Elizabeth"
Beth wanted to make a memorable entrance into the world. Her dam, Sequoyah, had kidded in between nighttime checks. Thankfully, it was only shortly before I had to get up for school. I checked the camera and I saw Sequoyah had kidded, but it looked like one was still in the sack. I grabbed the kidding kit and ran to the barn in my pajamas to break the sack. I got her suctioned and cleaned off. Thank the Lord, she was alive!! And I made it to school on time 😁. So, little Beth is pretty special to us after she gave us a big scare, and of course she had to stay. She reminds me a lot of her mom, but she seems to have more of her sire's dairy character which was my goal with this cross. I think they paired well. She will be a fun one to watch mature!
